Popular Yoruba movie actor, Mufutau Adio alias Ajigijaga, Broken Bottle has died at the age of 60 after a successful movie career.
The famous actor who was popular for his criminal roles in yoruba movies died at his Lagos residence on Friday as a result of infections from injuries that were not properly treated after he got involved in a bike accident two weeks ago.
One of his children broke the news to Adio’s colleague, Saheed Balogun.
According to Saheed Balogun who confirmed his death, “I was shocked this morning to get a call from one of his children that he has passed on. We shall miss his useful contributions to discussions on how to move the movie industry forward and instil discipline and professionalism in our members. Ajigi Jaga is dead.”
Ajigi Jaga who was reported to have died at his residence in Oko-Oba, Agege have since been buried according to muslim rites.
