The Sun have released pictures of Manchester City star Raheem Sterling's Mercedes apparently crashed in London, with a crumpled front end and laughing gas canisters by the front seat.

Sterling's agent has denied that the player was even in the car at the time though, with a source telling the paper that Sterling was training in Manchester at the time of the crash.
Both of the airbags in the car had gone off, suggesting that the accident was more than just a low-speed bump, and the laughing gas canisters reportedly found in the car will bring back memories of previous controversies involving the 20-year-old.
A source told the Sun: “The Merc was in London for days after the smash — it was just left on the street. Raheem wasn’t in the car at the time, he was training in Manchester. It looks like he lent it to a mate
“Raheem needs to think about whether he’s hanging around with the right kind of people, especially as he is such a high-profile star.”
It's not the first laughing gas-related controversy Sterling has been involved in this year, having been caught on video inhaling the legal high in April and then once again in June.
When he was spotted in April, his then-manager Brendan Rodgers said: “For me, it is something that when you are a professional sportsperson at the top, I don’t think it is something you should be doing.
“It is as simple as that. But I will speak to him. We want players here who are super-professional and focused on their football. He very much is. I will speak to Raheem on that. Until then, it is something we will deal with internally.”
It's yet to be seen how new boss Manuel Pellegrini reacts to this incident, but it wouldn't be a surprise if he had a couple of quiet words with his £49m star behind the scenes about the value of choosing friends who don't crash your £125,000 cars.
