At least 22 people have been reported to have been killed following a deadly bomb attack in Zaria north-western Nigeria’s city of Kaduna state.

The blast happened at about 9:00 am as primary school teachers & public sector staff underwent at government offices in the city.

“I am sad that a terrorist bomb attack just killed 20 people in Sabon Gari Zaria,” Nasir El-Rufai, the gov of Kaduna, wrote on his Twitter account.

The Boko Haram bomber detonated herself among workers of the sabongari council in Zaria as government workers queued up for a wages verification exercise.
