All Progressives Congress’ lawmakers-elect will sign an undertaking pledging to abide by the party’s choice of candidates for the leadership of the 8th national assembly.

The APC leadership is currently meeting with its house of
representatives members-elect at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.

The All Progressive Congress will be having a total number of 60 senate members out of a total109 elected members in the upper chamber and will also be having 225 House of Representative Members out of a total 360 member in the lower chamber.
The meeting is replete with occasional shouts of “no, no”.
A sole candidate for Speaker of the House and President of the Senate is expected to emerge after the meeting.
