Nigeria's Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has set up two committees to restructure the budget of the National Assembly and set a legislative agenda for the eight Nigerian Senate.
Senator Saraki disclosed this after a closed-door session in his opening speech to welcome senators back from a two-weeks break.
According to TVC News correspondent Senate President Saraki said the first adhoc committee on review of the National Assembly budget is due to the outcry by Nigerians and the present economic realities that have led to a reduction in government revenues.

According to TVC News correspondent Senate President Saraki said the first adhoc committee on review of the National Assembly budget is due to the outcry by Nigerians and the present economic realities that have led to a reduction in government revenues.
The Senate President also set up a committee to initiate a legislative agenda that will guide the senate on the areas of specific national legislation that

The Senate also promised to pass bills aimed at strengthening Nigeria's economy in order to create a conducive atmosphere for foreign and local investments that will lead to improved job creation for unemployed youths.
