Stan Wawrinka has won the French Open, upsetting world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in four sets.
It was the first French Open title and the second career Grand Slam championship for the eighth-seeded Wawrinka, who beat the top-seeded Djokovic 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 on Sunday at Roland Garros.
Wawrinka also won the 2014 Australian Open.
Djokovic lost in the French Open final for the second straight year and the third time overall. The French Open is the only major tournament that the 28-year-old Djokovic has not won
