As it was earlier speculated by media houses that, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had sent a letter to both chambers of the House of Assembly suggesting possible names for nomination into principal offices.
The letters which were signed by the National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun , have been a cause of controversy, especially as both Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara refuses to read the letters to the hearing of its member in the Chambers .

It was also reported that, both the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara have denied to have received any letters from its party.
