The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has endorsed Senator Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara for the position of Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives.
This information was contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday morning signed by Olisa Metuh, the Publicity Secretary of the PDP.
PDP met with other members overnight and decided to throw a wrench into whatever progress made by All Progressives Congress party as it earlier presented Senator Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila for the leadership of the National Assembly.
The party, therefore, urged its senators and house of rep members-elect in the National Assembly to act accordingly.
